For the Helixer project — a fictional company — I designed a complete website that reinforces the brand identity and clearly communicates the message. Helixer stands for innovation, clarity, and future-oriented solutions, and these core values had to be immediately felt in the online experience.

Within this project, I was responsible for the entire process: from concept development and wireframes to visual design and user experience. Through user research and feedback rounds, I continuously refined the design, resulting in a clear, accessible, and visually strong website that conveys trust and supports the brand values.

The Helixer project gave me the opportunity to combine my design skills and attention to detail with strategic thinking about branding and digital communication.

During my time at MobileWater, I contributed to the SEVA project — an innovative platform developed for healthcare institutions. SEVA is an app designed for care professionals to stay connected with clients, particularly individuals with conditions such as ADHD or autism.

The goal of SEVA is to bridge the gap between caregiver and client. The app offers an accessible way to share information, provide daily structure, and offer support in a manner that aligns more closely with the user's perspective. Through clear communication and user-friendly features, SEVA helps make care more understandable and accessible.

In this project, I contributed to UX design, development, and testing, with a focus on using technology in a human-centered way to create real impact in healthcare.

As part of a project at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, I worked on a redesign of the HvA website. The goal was to improve the website's usability and accessibility, allowing students, teachers, and visitors to find what they're looking for more quickly and easily.

During this project, I actively contributed to user research, analysis of the current website, creation of personas and user journeys, and the design of a new, more intuitive interface. We tested the concept multiple times with real users to ensure the final design truly works in practice.

This project gave me the opportunity to further develop my skills in UX design, visual hierarchy, and design thinking, and to critically reflect on how a large educational institution presents itself online.

During the Entrepreneurship minor, I co-founded the company Stroming with four teammates — a brand focused on table water bottles. Within this project, I concentrated on marketing, product design, and the design of the website.

I was responsible for creating the visual identity and developing an online strategy tailored to our target audience. In addition, I designed the product with a focus on usability and aesthetics, and worked on a website that clearly and engagingly communicates our story.

Running Stroming was an intensive and valuable experience where entrepreneurship, creativity, and teamwork came together. It gave me the opportunity to put my ideas into practice while growing as a marketer, designer, and entrepreneur.

For my graduation project, I worked on Athlete180 — an app designed for the ice hockey team Blue Mountain Cougars. The app aims to bring all communication, team information, and team spirit together in one central place. In the sports world — where collaboration and clear communication are crucial — Athlete180 provides a user-friendly solution to bring team members closer, both on and off the ice.

During this project, I went through the entire process: from user research and interviews to designing, prototyping, and testing with the target group. The focus was on creating an app that truly meets the needs of players and coaches.

The final result was a working concept that was well received, and with which I graduated with a 7.5. Athlete180 demonstrates how design and research come together to provide practical solutions that strengthen teams.
